Talia Stevens, LPCA
I graduated with an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and my B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I focused heavily on science as it interlinks with psychology and childhood development. In my clinical practice, I collaborate with clients to identify thoughts and emotions while delving into their life narratives, experiences, and relationships that shape their identity. Embracing the belief that knowledge empowers, I prioritize understanding the physiological dimensions of stress to enhance emotional regulation and facilitate the development of effective coping strategies. This integrative approach assists clients in enhancing their self-awareness, strengthening relationships, and effectively addressing the challenges they encounter. I am passionate working with PTSD and trauma to help people identify their inner strengths to overcome the past and stride into the future with a growth mindset.
