Maddie Sparks, LPCA

Throughout my undergraduate and graduate studies, I have continually grown in my deep desire to walk alongside those who are hurting, engage in meaningful conversations, and learn from perspectives that differ from my own. I believe that stories are sacred, and I have experienced firsthand the ways counseling can help you explore complex narratives and gain new perspectives. As a therapist, I want to provide this same space for exploration and growth in the midst of your life circumstances.

Working together looks like pursuing awareness, growth, and healing in the context of a collaborative relationship. We will work together through whatever each day brings. Although I predominantly utilize person-centered, cognitive behavioral, and acceptance and commitment therapies, I believe every client is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all method of counseling. Together, we will craft goals and determine what therapeutic
structure works best for your specific needs. I believe I have so much to learn from you! As we work together, we will examine the specific concerns in your life and consider the context and related factors. Within this relationship, I want you to feel seen, heard, and
empowered as you engage in meaningful self-work.

I earned my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. It would be a privilege to enter into your story and accompany you on the path towards growth. I look forward to meeting you!
