Noel Mayes, LPC

My name is Noel Mayes, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University, and I love working with individuals, couples, and families of all ages and backgrounds. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with training in exercise physiology which allows me to take a holistic and integrated view on mental health, wellness, and the mind-body connection. 

 

My approach to counseling allows me to integrate all aspects of the individuals and families I work with including mind, body, social, spiritual, and systematic contexts, and I am passionate about trauma informed care. My goal in therapy is to help people become more aware of their personal values to create and live a life they find meaningful, and I enjoy bringing in playful and creative activities and modalities to the counseling process when possible to help people overcome whatever challenges they may be facing.
