Anna Evans, LPCA

I believe therapy is especially important at a young age, as it helps build lifelong skills, resilience, and emotional confidence. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and their families, supporting young clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and life transitions. I also have experience working in schools as a school-based mental health therapist, helping students navigate academic, social, and emotional challenges. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where children and teens feel understood, empowered, and equipped to grow.

I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and play therapy techniques to provide developmentally appropriate, engaging care. Through play and creative interventions, children and adolescents can express themselves naturally, while CBT-based strategies strengthen coping skills, emotional regulation, and self-confidence.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clemson University and my Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of South Carolina.

When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dog, exploring Greenville, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers.
