Elliot Gargus, LPCA
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) with a Master’s in Counseling from Pennsylvania Western University. I have experience working in multiple settings including outpatient clinics, a DBT program, and a child advocacy center. I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults on a variety of issues, and I am especially passionate about working with children who have experienced trauma, neurodivergent clients, and the LGBTQ community.
My counseling approach combines elements from multiple therapy modalities including DBT skills, TF-CBT, and person-centered counseling to tailor sessions to the unique goals of my clients. While all therapy comes from a mental health perspective, I also have a Master’s of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary and feel comfortable incorporating a client’s spirituality into their sessions if desired.
