Michelle LeBlanc, LPC
It can be difficult to take a chance on counseling... even harder to choose a therapist.
After all - aren’t we taught not to talk to strangers?
It has been my sincere honor to serve both children and adults as a licensed therapist for over 13 years. Throughout my career, I have helped clients of all ages and stages with a wide range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavioral problems. I have received training in evidence-based and time-limited therapy modalities, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR.

My therapeutic approaches are realistic and practical with a strong emphasis on respecting my clients' beliefs, values, and experiences. I view counseling as a journey of "assisted growth.” There is no greater expert on you or your child than YOU.

I received a Bachelor of Science with a counseling emphasis from Lander University (2003) and my masters in community counseling from Clemson University (2007). I began my work as a therapist at Greenville Mental Health Center and completed my full licensure as a Professional Counselor. In 2013 I began my own private practice where I served clients in the Simpsonville area for 11 years. I joined the Bloom team full-time in February 2024 where I am better positioned to devote my time to my clinical work and be a part of a talented group of therapists that share my values and dedication to serving others.
