Hannah Patteson, LMSW
My name is Hannah Patteson and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker, on my way to becoming a LISW-CP. Mental health is my passion and I can’t imagine doing anything else.
I absolutely love working with families. Whether your child is 3 or 18, I am here to help your family learn how to communicate in an effective and loving way, identify opportunities for growth, and walk with you as a team to help heal and strengthen bonds that seem disjointed in your family system. I do this through individual therapy with your child, family therapy with you and your child, and sometimes family therapy with just you and me. Within family therapy, I will use many different modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Assertive Communication Therapy, and play therapy in ways that will be the most compatible with your family’s needs. I will collaborate with you and your family in developing our treatment plan and will connect you to wrap-around services as needed throughout our time together as well as when you are ready for discharge from therapy. I have broad experience working with family reunification as well as parents and children in foster care, LGBTQ+ children, children with learning disabilities, those on the autism spectrum, and those with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I have also worked with children that find themselves in trouble at school, children at risk of psychiatric hospitalization, or DJJ. It would be my absolute pleasure to work with you and your family!
