Skylar Burch, LPCA
My name is Skylar Burch, but feel free to call me Sky as it always brings a smile to my face. My journey into the world of therapy began with receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Clemson University, followed by a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Winthrop University. I take an integrative approach to therapy, allowing me to tailor my methods to the unique goals and needs of each individual client. Rather than healing the inner child of adults, I found my passion was in providing early intervention and guidance to children and adolescents aged 18 and below. I find it to be a privilege for children to invite me into their complex young minds and that we get to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors together. Through play, expressive arts, and verbal communication, I would be honored to offer your kiddo or teen a listening ear and their own unique toolbox of resources that they can use to create lasting change.
