Kelli Wright, LPCA
My name is Kelli Wright and I am a mental health therapist specializing in the care of individuals, marriages and families. My undergrad degree is in Middle Grades Education from Georgia Southern University and I recently received my MA in Marriage and Family Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA). My personal journey to becoming an LPC started after working with women in the church for over 30 plus years, mentoring women in addiction for 2 years, and going through a divorce after 25 years of marriage. My passion for meeting people exactly where they are in his or her journey has always been a focus of my life. Each person has a story that is worth hearing and it is my privilege to be a part of the healing process. I believe that healing begins when we are willing to share our story, be honest enough to reach out for help, and be willing to work to become the best version of ourselves.
As a helping professional, my goal is to hear the heart of the person which includes spiritual, mental and emotional aspects. I enjoy working with various ages and have worked with individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, grief, addiction recovery, PTSD, and trauma using EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). I have a passion for helping couples using a variety of techniques including Prepare and Enrich and Gottman.
