Hello! My name is Jacquelyn Walker, and I am a native of Orangeburg, SC, approximately 40 minutes from Columbia, S.C.. I am a proud 2x Alumna of Thee Illustrious South Carolina State University, where I earned my B.A. in Professional English and M.A. in Rehabilitation Counseling. Prior to relocating to Greenville, S.C., I briefly attended North Carolina A&T State University, in pursuit of my Ph.D. in Counseling Education. Currently, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in S.C. and have had experience working in outpatient and inpatient facilities. I have always had a propensity for working with children, adolescents, and families. During therapeutic services, I incorporate one or more evidenced-based modalities such as Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy to name a few.
