Lindsey Hesketh, LMSW

Despite the privilege that I was born into and have known for much of my childhood, I have spent my entire adult life trying to help others to believe in a better version of themselves and have more opportunities to succeed in their life. For the last decade, I did this by working in the foster care system and supporting kinship, foster, and adoptive families. It wasn’t until having my own daughter that I fully embraced my future as a therapist. Helping her to identify her feelings, regulate her emotions, and develop coping skills has been one of the greatest joys of my life. As a therapist, I absolutely love helping children ages 2-18 through challenging times and including their parents in the therapeutic process. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, disruptive behaviors, parental separation, family grief/trauma, foster care involvement, and post-adoption challenges. It would be an honor to work with your child and help your family!
